The post SphaeraMag® DNA/RNA Isolation Kit – Pre-filled 32 first appeared on Procomcure Biotech.]]> The SphaeraMag® DNA/RNA Isolation Kit is designed for rapid and reliable isolation of pathogenic nucleic acids from saliva, nasopharyngeal swabs, nasopharyngeal aspirates, bronchoalveolar lavage samples in Universal Transport Medium (UTM)/ Viral Transport Medium (VTM) and swab samples. Samples are lysed in a specially formulated buffer to release the nucleic acids which are then bound to the surface of paramagnetic beads. Proteins and cellular debris are removed by washing of the beads.

The nucleic acids are eluted in the provided Elution buffer and can be further analyzed e.g. for diagnostic purposes (pathogen detection) or research applications (e.g. PCR analysis).
