PhoenixDx® Covid-19 VOC 4-Plex B is a real-time RT-PCR-based diagnostic test for the in vitro qualitative detection and discrimination of SARS-CoV-2 mutations P681R, E484K, D3L and
SARS-CoV-2 N-Gene in respiratory specimens and sera from patients who meet COVID-19 clinical and/or epidemiological criteria.

PHOENIXDX® COVID-19 VOC 4-PLEX B detects a target sequence highly specific for wildtype SARS-CoV-2 (N gene), mutant P681R SARS-CoV-2 (S gene), mutant E484K SARS-CoV-2 (S Gene) and mutant D3L (N Gene). Additionally, three non-infectious target positive controls (TPC) are included. The positive controls are used to confirm functionality of the assays, overall PCR performance and assist with data interpretation of patient samples.

PhoenixDx® Covid-19 VOC 4-Plex B detects SARS-CoV-2 RNA in PhoenixDx® Gargling/Saliva Collection Kit samples, nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal swab samples during infection.
